WEEE Compliance

What you need to know

  • The WEEE Regulations were made law in 2007
  • WEEE Producers are required to register annually and report their sales figures.

Please have a look at our checklist to determine if you need to be registered:

  • Do you manufacture EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) under your own brand?
  • Do you resell equipment made by someone else under your own brand?
  • Do you import EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) on a commercial basis into the UK?
  • Are you established outside of the UK and are supplying EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directly to the UK market?
What should I do next?

What you need to do next depends on the quantity of product you place on the market and whether your product is classified as B2B or B2C.
